How to sex your agamas
sexing your agamas can be difficult because different locales of species have different variations of colour, scales, chest markings, the only sure way of knowing is by looking for the hempinal bulges at the base of the tail near the vent for a male or lack of them for a female, usually females have a yellowing or orange tail on the underneath but this isn't a definite way to sex as males could also have that coloration, the image below is a probable female, yellowing of underneath of tail and back of the legs, also the lack of 2 bulges and the more rounded base of tail
the image below is of a definite male, you can clearly see 2 hempinal bulges at the base of the tail which is also white
